Context

After filing more than seventy reports against harassment accounts, Tumblr ignored my submissions.
My opponents then coordinated mass reports, triggering the automated ban system.
Later, Tumblr quietly restored my blog—not because they believed me, but out of fear.

Google search results also picked up my Lemmy post quickly, despite low traffic:

The Hate account was not suspended by Tumblr; on the morning of September 17 they threatened to continue reporting my Tumblr account.

Commentary

Tumblr's restoration is not an act of justice.
They deliberately ignored my reports, allowed hate accounts to remain, and only reversed the ban out of fear of exposure.

This is not protection—it is strategic negligence.
They are waiting for one side to collapse rather than enforcing their own rules.
