Praxis / private system

Private system / Design notes / In progress

Project Noctiluca

A private agentic workstation behind a chat-like interface. Noctiluca is not a public chatbot, an author substitute, or an open-source release. It is a working interface for reading, making, remembering, and maintaining context across tools.

Core frame

Private system, public design record

The public artifact is the design record: notes, workflow descriptions, interface decisions, and future videos about how the system is organized. The system itself remains private.

This page exists so Noctiluca can be documented as praxis without being mistaken for a product launch, a live service, or a source release.

System areas

What It Connects

Agentic work surface

A chat-like interface used as the entry point for tool use, context switching, and multi-step work rather than as a public chatbot.

Creative tool routing

Connections to local and remote creative tools, including code assistance and image-generation workflows.

Archive and knowledge retrieval

A planned knowledge layer that can draw from the public archive and private notes, bookmarks, and app-native records without collapsing their contexts.

Self-observation systems

Planned non-clinical mood and body-state logging for personal pattern tracking, not diagnosis, treatment, or medical advice.

Future publication

Design Notes and Videos

Future public material may introduce the design logic of the system: why a chat-like interface works as an operating surface, how archive materials become retrievable context, how creative tools are routed, and where private infrastructure should stay private.

The goal is to document method, not to publish a turnkey system.

Boundaries

  • Source code is not public.
  • Live access is not public.
  • Private knowledge-base contents are not public.
  • Internal hostnames, tunnels, tokens, ports, and implementation details are not documented here.
